Northern Log Homes is family owned and operated and has been helping customers realize their dreams of affordable log homes since 1978. The emphasis of our company is quality, service and satisfaction.

• Foam weather-strip for a more airtight seal between log layers

LOGS
In our process, logs are milled to a uniform diameter and fitted with machined corner cross-notches (saddle notches) in the Swedish Cope method. Our standard log species is pine. A limited supply of logs in cedar or Douglas fir is available for an additional fee.

SIZE
Standard wall logs are 9 inches in diameter and up to 16 feet in length. Wall logs are also available in 8-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch diameters.

BEAMS
Beams are available either squared or machine rounded in special sizes and lengths up to 32 feet.

SASHCO PRODUCTS
Wood preservative (PeneTreat), stain (Capture & Cascade), interior finish (Symphony), chinking (Log Jam) and caulk (Log Builder) are all offered.

DELIVERY
All log packages are sold at the mill site. Delivery can be arranged for approximately $1.75 per loaded mile.

PLANS
Northern Log Homes has several stock plans; however, most floor plans are adaptable to log construction. Our experienced staff will be happy to help you decide on the best plan to fit your needs.
