When properly designed and insulated, your Northern Log Home combines beauty and efficiency without compromise. Our flexibility allows us to help folks like you build anything from a ski cabin, a lake cabin, a mountain retreat or a custom log home. We use either timber-frame or full, round-log construction, both of which produce quality log homes.
Northern Log Homes' production facility is located near Sandpoint, Idaho in the beautiful panhandle of North Idaho. We choose standing, dead timber with a top priority on selection. The logs are then machined at our North Idaho mill to a uniform diameter for ease of construction and a tight fit. Your home is special, and the selected logs will be worked to fit your specific needs. We have the ability to provide house logs, beams or timbers, plank flooring, tongue-and-groove decking, lumber and house plans.
